Chris Brown Released From Jail After Serving for Probation Violation

Down with the orange jumpsuit!

Chris Brown has been released from jail. The singer was set free from the Los Angeles County Jail this morning at 12:01 am.

Brown, 25, was in jail for violating his probation for the 2009 Rihanna case. On May 9, he was sentenced to serve one year in jail. However, according to E!, he was given credit for 234 days that he already spent in rehab and behind bars. He was left with 131 days to serve, but was released after 108 days.

The "Don't Wake Me Up" singer may be out of jail, but he isn't in the clear just yet. Brown still has 1,000 hours of community service to do. He is required to attend outpatient therapy at least twice a week, get tested for drugs at least three times a week and participate in psychiatric counseling two times a week.

After Brown was released, he took to Twitter saying, "Humbled and Blessed," and added "Back to the Music and the Fans."

Brown's album, X, has been put off multiple times. The last release date listed was for May 5, but was pushed back again since he was in jail.

The singer is still facing an assault charge in D.C. The trial will be set some time in the future.
