My host mom and her family took a few volunteers and I on an island tour. We got to see the Piton Mountains, Sulphur springs and a waterfall. We ended the tour at a black sand beach called Sable Wiche Sha (sab-we-sha). We did some site seeing along the way.

Sulphur Springs is inside a volcano. When you arrive, you get into a pool of water with the temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The purpose of getting in first is to open your pores. Next, you cover yourself in mud that comes from the sulphur in the volcano. After it dries, you get back in the pool and rinse off.
I'm touching the Pitons!
Basking in the sun, letting the mud dry.
Dip. Rinse. And repeat.
The tour was fantastic and I hope I get to see more of the island among the others in the vicinity.
