Police Identify Bomber of Concert in Manchester

The terrorist group ISIS claimed responsibility, but the police have identified the suicide bomber on Tuesday, May 23 as Salman Abedi.Abedi was 22 years old, born to Libyan refugees in Britain. As a result of the bombing, 22 people are dead and 59 are injured.  This tragedy occurred at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England.

He was identified by Chief Constable Ian Hopkins. According to New York Post, Hopkins wouldn't go into detail because the coroner hasn't formally completed the identification work.

"Our priority, along with the police counter-terrorism network and our security partners, is to continue to establish whether he was acting alone or working as part of a wider network," Hopkins said. The police have arrested a 23 year-old man in connection to the bombing.

Due to unfortunate circumstances, Grande has decided to postpone her tour. The singer was unharmed, but is upset by the tragedy. She tweeted: "Broken. From the bottom of my heart, I am so so sorry. I don't have words."
