Carlos Santana Clears Up Beyonce "Not A Singer" Comment

There's nothing like an apology on V-day.

Carlos Santana clears up the comments he made about Beyonce during an interview after the Grammies on Sunday night via Facebook today. His intention was to congratulate Adele on her win and his remark on Beyonce was taken the wrong way.

"My comment about Beyonce was regretfully taken out of context. I have the utmost respect for her as an artist and a person. She deserves all the accolades that come her way. I wish Beyonce and her family all the best."

When asked about Adele's Grammy win for best album for "25" by the Australian Associated Press, the 69-year-old musician said it was because "she can sing, sing." Santana went on to say, "With all respect to our sister Beyonce, Beyonce is very beautiful to look at and it's more like modeling kind of music -music to model a dress- she's not a singer, singer, with all respect to her."

Going back to Adele, he said, "She doesn't bring all the dancers and props, she can just stand there and she just stood there and sang the song and that's it, and this is why she wins."

Despite how Santana felt, Adele's opinion couldn't be more opposite. She was shocked to have won the award because she felt Beyonce should have won for Lemonade.

"I couldn't possibly accept this award, and I'm very humbled, and I'm very grateful and gracious but, my artist of my life is Beyonce."
