Paula Patton is a good sport.
Patton, 37, made an appearance on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" on Tuesday, September 17. She talked about her husband Robin Thicke's performance at the VMAs with Miley Cyrus.
A viewer asked her, "How long did it take to wash Miley's funk off your husband's Beetlejuice pants?"
The Baggage Claim actress replied, "First of all, his outfit was fly and secondly, he was wearing pants so there was nothing to wash off. It wasn't a naked show."
Patton says that "she wasn't surprised" about the performance since they had rehearsed three days beforehand. "I don't know how to not dance with someone having their booty in your... all my friends do it like that. And I don't really know what the big deal is."
The actress was surprised at how shocked the viewers were and how everyone reacted to it. She made a joke saying, "I didn't know if they thought Miley was going to sit down and play piano like Alicia Keys. Her song's about taking molly!"
The following morning, Patton appeared on the TODAY Show. To prove a point, she twerked on weather anchor Al Roker. "Your wife's not going to get mad at you is she?"
Paula Patton plays the leading role in the upcoming movie Baggage Claim. It will release on Friday, September 27.
