Actress Denise Richards spent Mother's Day morning without her kids and also Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller's twin sons. She let her dad, Irv Richards, babysit because she had to film a scene for the show Twisted.
She sent a tweet on Saturday, May 11 saying that she was "bummed" about missing Mother's Day. "Quick 24 hour trip to NY to film an exterior scene for Twisted. Bummed to miss Mother's Day morning with the kids...grandpa Irv is in charge."
Grandpa decided to take the kids to a neighborhood fair while their mom is away for work.
Richards is mother to daughters Sam, 9 and Lola, 7 with Sheen and adopted daughter Eloise, 22 months. She was given temporary custody of Mueller's twin sons Bob and Max, 4, after Mueller checked herself into rehab on Friday, May 3 for prescription drug abuse.
The 42 year-old mother sent a tweet on Sunday, May 12 saying that she was going to bring presents. "Made a stop at FAO for toys for the kiddies."
