Happy Days Actress Erin Moran Passed Away

Today isn't such a happy day.

Erin Moran, who starred as Joanie Cunningham on Happy Days, is no longer with us. The former actress was found unresponsive on Saturday, April 22 and was pronounced dead on the scene by officers of the Harrison County Sheriff's Department.

Moran was a California native that began acting at age 5. She landed a commercial with First Federal Bank and played small roles in the 1960s and 70s before becoming Joanie Cunningham in 1974 for Happy Days. She was 12 when she got the role and the show lasted for 10 years.

At 22, she starred in Joanie Loves Chachi, a spin-off from Happy Days with Joanie's love interest Chachi Arcola, played by Scott Baio. The show only had 17 episodes. After it ended, Moran made a few appearances in other shows before giving up her acting career in the mid-1980s.

Moran married her second husband, Steven Fleischmann in 1993 and in 2012, they moved in with her mother-in-law in Indiana so she could become her caretaker.

Ron Howard, who played her older brother Richie Cunningham, took to Twitter after hearing about her passing. "Such sad sad news. I'll choose to remember you on our show making scenes better, getting laughs and lighting up tv screens."

Moran died at 56 and left behind husband Steven Fleischmann. An autopsy is currently pending for cause of death.

Update 05/11/17: Moran died of throat cancer. She hid her battle with the disease from her family.

She claims the abuse started in November 2007 when he choked her during the Dancing With The Stars finale. She also claims in July 2012 he split her lip with a closed fist because he accused her of flirting with Usher after shooting an episode with the singer for X Factor.

Mel B said she tried to leave numerous of times but he threatened to leak compromising videos of her. "He would threaten that if I left, he would release the videos to the tabloids. I have lived the past decade in fear that he would release intimate videos of me that would embarrass me and damage my reputation and my career." During an interview with TMZBelafonte said he was shocked at the allegations and wondered how it would effect their daughters. Mel B has two daughters from previous relationships, Phoenix and Angel. They share their 5 year-old daughter Madison together.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Defends the Special Olympics on Facebook

The r-word is not to be used.

Earlier today on Facebook, former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger stood up to an internet troll that had something negative to say about the Special Olympics. He's been a supporter of the event for years and even lead the event in South Africa in 2001 to reach out to thousands of athletes to join the event. Eunice Kennedy Shriver,  his ex mother-in-law, founded the inspiring program in 1968.

The bully decided to make an offensive comment on the Total Recall actor's Facebook page on a post about the event. "The Special Olympics make no sense. The Olympics are for the best athletes in the entire world to compete against each other to determine who is the best. Having retards competing is doing the opposite!" Here's what the 69 year-old actor had to say.

"As stupid and as evil as this comment is, I'm not going to delete it or ban you (yet) because it's a teachable moment. You have two possible paths ahead. Right now, I guarantee you that these athletes have more courage, compassion, brains, skill- actually more of every positive human quality than you. So take their path- you could learn from them, and try to challenge yourself, to give back, to add something from the world. Or you can stay on your path, and keep being a sad, pitiful, jealous internet troll who adds nothing to the world but mocks anyone who does out of small-minded jealousy. I know what you really want is attention, so let me be clear; if you choose to keep going this way, no one will ever remember you. "

Alec Baldwin's President Trump Impersonations May Be Short-Lived

Saturday Night Live may lose an act.

Alec Baldwin may end his President Donald Trump impersonations. The actor has been doing the hilarious act since October last year. Although SNL has had it's best ratings in six years because of it, the president isn't finding the humor in it. Trump has made tweets about the show.

"Just tried watching Saturday Night Live- unwatchable. Totally biased, not funny and the Baldwin impersonation just can't get any worse. Sad."

The Boss Baby actor told Mario Lopez on Extra, Monday, March 6, that he thought once Trump became president he would relax, but that isn't the case. "Trump just overwhelmingly lacks any sportsmanship, he remains bitter and angry, and you just want to look at him and go, 'You won!'"

Baldwin, went on, "His policies aside, which you can hate, I thought he would have just relaxed. The maliciousness of this White House has people worried... that's why I'm not going to do it much longer, the impersonation, I don't know how much more people can take it."

The 58 year-old actor also cleared up the rumor that he would be hosting the White House Correspondence Dinner by saying he isn't attending it. "If Trump himself doesn't come and face the music, as it were, I don't know what kind of program they're going to have."
